Alex has been in the heating and plumbing business for over 25 years. The company has been installing under floor heating, geothermal heat pumps and solar panels for over 10 years.

Alex is also involved with training courses ran by the Renewable Energy Skills Network in the Sligo region. He lectures to other Plumbers, Architects and Engineers about renewable energy heating systems. He regularly visits other European countries to research new innovated products coming on the market, not yet available in Ireland.

He gives every individual customer expert advice on all heating and plumbing requirements for their homes.

EILs product portfolio has expanded to include; Heat Recovery Ventilation, Heat Recovery from Exhaust Air, and Bio-ethanol Stoves.

In July 1997, Alex along with Brian Ash started Cell Energy Ireland, a company specializing in renewable energy technologies, such as Wind Turbines, Photovoltaic panels, Building Integrated PV, and Low Energy Lighting.
